Proposed Agenda & Goals

  • Discuss disposition of vision/mission statements, along with the notion of a slogan or tagline – Joe Golio
    • Byron and Joe to craft vision/mission statements from feedback 
    • Team to suggest slogan or tagline and include Tom Cap in email
  • Meeting regarding RackHD direction
    • Need to promote software defined solutions
    • Improve methods to consume RackHD 
    • Identify gaps for RackHD use with Hyper Converged Infrastructure use-cases
    • Improve collaboration with the firmware teams
    • Modernize the labs / validation
  • Provide a strawman set of "guiding principles" - Joe Golio/Byron Blunk
  • Provide inventory of recent/latest architectural collateral - Joe Golio
  • Form small sub-group to take ownership of generating draft of architecture as it exists today
    • Volunteers welcome, otherwise, appointments will be made
    • "A short guide to RackHD Architecture" in RackHD confluence. Component interaction and communication. Need better definition of RackHD scope / boundaries. Brian to take lead and facilitate.

  • Former user (Deleted) and Former user (Deleted) to craft vision/mission statements from feedback - posted to Works In Progress area on 1/17/2017
  • Team to suggest slogan or tagline and include Tom Capirchio in email - closing AI - overcome by events – team has not provided slogan/tagline to Tom C by now, so likely not going to happen
  • Former user (Deleted) and Former user (Deleted) to provide a strawman set of "guiding principles" - created, once reviewed by Byron and Joe, will be posted to Works In Progress area before 1/25/2017
  • "A short guide to RackHD Architecture" in RackHD confluence. Former user (Deleted) to take lead and facilitate. Work with Former user (Deleted). - Brian presented whiteboard diagrams and the team discussed. 
  • Former user (Deleted) will send out some examples of "Component interaction and communication" documentation to the team. Team should also look at RackHD. - Michael provided to the team via email.
